NuMe Curling Wand

I was recently introduced to NuMe Hair Products, and had the wonderful opportunity to review a curling wand (since I have natural straight hair). I chose the 25mm curling wand, because I like bigger curls and the fact that it had no clip already intrigued me. My old curling wand - which I've had since I was a young teen - was ConAir, with the clip. It always took forever to warm up, and curl my hair. It was also complicated twirling my strands with the clip in the way. My experience with the NuMe curling wand was SO much better!
The curling wand came with a Velcro strip attached to the cord to help keep the cord neatly wrapped up when storing it, and a heat glove to protect your hand while curling those strands!
So..here's the before photo :) (Haha, don't mind the egg-shaped sunset photo in the background, which I made in high school.)
And the after photo!
The after photo doesn't do much justice but it came really well. The curling wand took quickly to heat up, and took only 3-5 seconds to hold my strands for it to curl. It took less than half an hour to curl my entire head! Also, the curls stayed on all day, without any hairspray or mousse.

My only recommendation would be to add some sort of light or indication that it's warm enough to use - just so that you don't have to touch it or feel it to know. Other than that, I thought the product worked fabulously and I highly recommend it! They also offer other sizes - 13mm and the 19mm size in addition to the 25mm wand. Of course, NuMe offers straighteners, blow dryers, hair extensions, hair accessories, and hair care products.

Additionally, Sierra from Ocean Dreams is having a NuMe giveaway! Check out her post for more details; her contest ends on April 15.

  11. AH YOUR HAIR IS AMAZING LOOKING. I have pin straight hair and it suckkkkks at being curled. I've stopped trying. Because it's always like "Yay it's curly!" and then it's immediately flat. But enough about me: YOU LOOK STUNNING.

  18. Wow, it's quite a transformation! You look so pretty in both photos! I've tried curling my hair, kind of, by braiding my hair at night and sleeping in it so that I can have waves in the morning. This would be a good product to try!

I love your comment on my blog post! I hate it when celebrities do it and they get away with it and they just act like it's normal! I would lose a lot of respect for someone if they're a cheater! You're so lucky to have someone who shares the same values! xoxoxoo

  24. My hair is super straight and really fine, but I have alot of it.It does not like to hold a curl, unless the iron gets super hot,but afterwards I cannot comb/brush my hair or the curls will fall right out.How did it do if you ran your fingers through the curls? Could you comb or brush the curls without them coming out? Just curious, thanks :)
