Christina Karin Spring 2013

Christina Karin, designed by Christina Monley, has certainly caught my eye as a glamorous contemporary women's label offering gorgeous cocktail & sophisticated looks with a seductive yet refined edge. I have found myself wanting every piece.

For the Spring 2013 collection (which isn't on the website yet, but will be soon!), Christina had the vision of a woodland soiree with the hallmark hint of fantasy. It certainly is dreamy and ethereal. Personally, I am someone who is inspired by nature so naturally (ha, no pun intended), I am thrilled by the concept of this collection.
Below are my absolute favorites from the spring collection. Besides my known adoration for sweetheart necklines, I love long-sleeved dresses.The floral print is not only perfect for the spring time, but it's also a print that is versatile to wear throughout the colder seasons. You can never go wrong with a touch of sparkle either, whether it be on romantic bell sleeves or on edgy shoulders.

Christina has worked on Wall Street/financial industry in Chicago for nearly a decade as well as modeled & acted in NYC and she definitely combines her strategic business experience with a creative eye and love for the evolving art of fashion. Based in Chicago, she is becoming one of the up and coming designers in her city.
