Golden Globes 2013 Red Carpet

There were many gorgeous ladies on the Golden Globes red carpet last night, but let me share my absolute favorites. Kate Hudson is definitely tied with Emily Blunt for my personal best-dressed pick. I do wish that Kate put up her hair to show off that beautiful neck detail more but nonetheless looked stunning.

My other favorites include Jennifer Garner, Nicole Richie, and Claire Danes. (FYI, Claire looks ahh-mazing especially since she just had a baby).

I definitely liked Taylor Swift's more grown-up look but her hair --- no. As someone who always seems to have a great hair style, this look was disappointing and underwhelming.

As for Julianne's look, at first I wasn't much of fan. Looking at it more, I appreciate her edgy, bold style for the Golden Globes. It's different from the crowd, yet the drizzle of sparkle is still so elegantly pretty.

Trends of the night included a lot of bright reds, black/white, nude/gold, and plunging necklines. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did a wonderful job hosting -- they were delightfully entertaining. I do hope they host again sometime soon, or even have Kristen Wiig & Will Ferrell do it (their bit was hysterical!).
